API PRO Job Request Web Portal

As a brand new product further improving the accessibility and flexibility of API PRO v5Xa we are now offering a web based Job Request portal. The basic idea of the concept is offering access to Job request functionality on basis of an internet browser. No installation of API PRO on the computer used for access is necessary, all you need is a connection to the internet and you are good to go. API PRO is now truly with you whereever you are! This new product has been developed to provide API PRO users a greater range of accessibility to a core function of the API PRO system with a native web look and feel.

In terms of functionality you are getting close to everything known from the standard API PRO system. The initial start up screen will show the job requests made by the current user, displayed in a list in the browser similar to lists known from API PRO programs. From this initial screen the user is given access to all relevant existing job requests and naturally has the opportunity to create new ones.

Ability to filter on selected fields and work order status displayed in an intuitive way in the browser by color codes provides a powerful alternative which is accessible from any computer with access to the internet. Take mobility a step further and allow your API PRO users to request maintenance jobs wherever they are.

As known from the standard API PRO system, the initial screen of the web based Job Request program is a login screen. The web login is well secured by a powerful MD5 encryption before being sent to the web server ensuring the integrity of your data and securing your system.

Your system supervisors will be able to define which users should be allowed to access the system by the job request portal. Their user ID and password will be the same for the web based login as for logging in on the standard API PRO system. It is also possible to allow access for users not registered as standard users in the API PRO system by setting up a password for anonymous login. This means that the system will be accessible not only for a small selection of your employees directly related to maintenance, but also for other people in your organization allowing a better work flow and an easier procedure for requesting jobs.
