The world's largest wheat beer brewery Erdinger Weissbräu has signed the contract for the delivery of API PRO. Erdinger is one of the most respected beer brands in Europe. The Erdinger beer is brewed according to traditional recipes, but using state-of-the-art technology.

New API customer in Germany: dornburger zement GmbH & Co. KG. The cement mill in the German village Dorndorf-Steudnitz near Jena has a strong tradition in cement manufacturing. Already in 1897 the production of this important building materials product was started. Today high-value standard and special cement types for multiple use are manufactured here. The mission of dornburger zement is the troublefree production and profit-focused sales promotion of products and services of unchanged high quality which fully fulfils the expectations of the customers. In order to achieve these methods, procedures and regulations corresponding to the actual status of science and engineering are used and also environmental issues are considered. The plant’s integrated quality assurance and management system is a worldwide leading standard within the cement technology.
In order to be able to guarantee the high quality also in the future and to obtain a reduction in current plant costs dornburger zement has now decided to implement a maintenance management system. After a short evaluation of the market at the maintenance fair ‘Maintain 2006’ in Munich, Germany they found a presentation of API PRO so interesting that they decided to evaluate the software even further. In February 2007 API was then invited to present a solution at the customer site.
This presentation convinced the people at dornburger zement and in March 2007 they made the final decision to order API PRO.
For Fuji Electric Systems Co., Ltd in Philippines ABB has ordered API PRO as EAM-system to the 40 MW geothermal power plant, owned by PNOC Energy Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC).
Besides the API PRO system ABB will supply its latest System 800xA for the full plant automation including turbine area, cooling tower and steam receiver areas. ABB is responsible for project management, system engineering, installation supervision and commissioning for the 20 MW power project.

On June 28, 2006 the new API office in Beijing was officially opened.
In continuation to the global expansion of the API group, a new sales office has been established in Beijing in China. The new office, which has been established in close cooperation with the Danish Trade Council in Beijing, will be a central sales and support center for our Chinese customers and partners.

The capacity of the Novatek factory is 340 meter per minute of 8.2 meter wide film ranging from 10 to 80 µm and the annual output 25.500 tons. The Russian market is experiencing a growing demand for packing materials especially for metallized film, high shrinkage tobacco film and other opaque, plain and co-extruded films, all type that can be produced at the Novatek facility.
The equipment operated at the Novatek facility is supplied by Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH is the worlds leading supplier of film stretching lines with over 500 production lines running world wide.
Brüeckner not only supplies Novatek with the stretching line but also with down stream equipment such as slitters, metallizers and palletizers as well as utilities such as power, thermal and compressed air supply. Furthermore, Brückner also supplies plant logistics systems including mill roll and slit roll handling, packaging and conveying systems for warehousing.
Producing in excess of 300 meter per minute the need for effective maintenance becomes evident both to secure the quality of the production but even more to ensure that the factory can operate with a minimum of stops.
Being able to plan and execute the most efficient and fastest maintenance thus becomes a key factor in the profitability of the entire plant and API PRO has been chosen to facilitate this.

The API PRO PDA solution will with the release of the next API PRO be extended with the Pocket PC platform. The PDA solution eliminates paper work and reduces data entry failures, especially when using the supported barcode reader. The functionality earlier only available on Palm Pilot – Work Order and Inspection – will now also be available on the Pocket PC.

API participated in the trade fair Nordic Days in Croatia from 21 to 22 November 2005.
The AAA-diploma has again been awarded to API Maintenance Systems A/S in Denmark. The "AAA" is the highest credit rating in D&B's rating scale. The award has been given based on our 2004 result, which was the best result in the company's history.
Only 2.7% of the Danish companies have achieved this highest rating.

Two enjoyable and informative API PRO user meetings have been held during October month. The 13th of October the Annual User Group Meeting in the UK was held in Birmingham, where users of API PRO participated.
The agenda included three user presentations and two external presentations as well as the normal elements such as product break out sessions and an update from FMS.
A representative from the Danish head office presented the audience with the latest news in the API PRO system.
