API PRO Open.7 released
By introducing the new Open.7 version API PRO very much strengthens its position as the maintenance management system for international groups.
It is now possible to merge plants situated in different countries – talking different languages and using different currencies into one system in which for example spare part data can be shared – maintenance history and costs can be consolidated and compared.
API PRO Open.7 features three-tier technology almost eliminating the network traffic and making it possible to run API PRO over the company’s wide area network – or the WEB - with a good performance, still offering the high level of user friendliness from the highly developed Windows based user interface.
The database and the so-called application server are installed at the same location. All data processing is handled here with a very fast processing speed. Only the actual information needed is sent from application server to the local client ensuring that you get the data you need fast and that the traffic on the network is held at a minimum.
API PRO Open.7 also introduces a further developed intuitive and configurable user interface. With the new screen-designer you can make your own screens – with exactly the fields needed in your plant.
