API Maintenance Systems offers various consultancy services in order to secure that our customers achieve as many benefits as possible from their API PRO system. Our professional consultants can offer the following services:

Maintenance

Many people in our organization are maintenance specialists. We keep our knowledge up to date with the latest developments in the maintenance area and around maintenance strategies, such as TPM and RCM II.

Many of our consultants are certified ‘European Maintenance Experts’. This means that we can offer maintenance management consulting together with the implementation of the API PRO system in order to optimise your maintenance activities.

Customizations

Even though the API PRO system is a very flexible system, there might still be customer specific requirements that make it necessary to create customizations.

The customizations are made in the API PRO development centre in Denmark. When possible, the customizations will be included in the standard API PRO system in order to improve the functionality and to make it easier for the customer, who ordered the customization, to upgrade to new versions of API PRO.

When a customization cannot become standard, then the API PRO customization department will take care that the customizations are upgraded to new versions of API PRO. This means that all customers can always take care of new features in the latest API PRO versions, no matter whether customizations exist or not.

Implementation

The implementation of a computerized maintenance management system requires a strong focus in order to be successful. We can offer you the required guidance in order to secure a successful implementation.

The implementation consultant will be able to help you with various different tasks:

System installation
Configuration of the system
User training
Making guidelines for building up the equipment structure
Assistance defining a preventive maintenance scheme
Importing data from excel files or an old maintenance management system
Building interfaces with other systems
Etc.

Because of the ease of implementation and the professional implementation consultancy that we can offer our customers, the API PRO system has probably a better record of successful implementations than any of our competitors.

Integration with ERP systems

Most maintenance management systems are nowadays integrated with other systems within the organization. The advanced interfacing tools in the API PRO system enable customers to build their own interfaces with ERP systems or they can use the assistance of our consultants on this area.

During time, our engineers have gathered a lot of experience in integration projects and our customers can of course take advantage of this expertise. Over the last years we have assisted our customers with integration projects with SAP, Navision, Oracle Financials, JD Edwards and many other ERP systems.
