Upgrade to API PRO 9
API Maintenance Systems released API PRO 9 in the beginning of the year. Users of API PRO 7 and earlier versions are therefore no longer supported.
Place your order for API PRO 9 before October 1st 2017 and we will include the new Mobile Module for free.
Key features in API PRO 9:
The improved planning features makes it easier to plan preventive and corrective work on groups or individuals in a user-friendly way. The Visual Planning module provides an easy overview of the work load, the available resources and the used capacity all in one screen.
Multiple Plants in same database
The new architecture now supports multiple plants with financial transactions in different currencies, maintenance work in different time-zones, and data in multiple languages. All in the same database, which makes it possible to share spare parts and other common data among the plants. With API PRO 9 the various system options can be configured globally, per plant or per user.
With the API PRO apps for iPhone/iPad and Android devices, field workers can perform their maintenance activities online or offline. The apps provide easy access to technical documentation, results in more accurate registration, and facilitates efficient communication with photos and description of work done.
Analytics with QlikView
API PRO Analytics is the tool for organizations with focus on continuous improvement of maintenance operations, equipment availability, utilization of assets and maintenance costs.
The module provides the user with flexible tools for analysis and includes essential technical, economical and organizational performance indicators that can be analyzed in multiple dimensions.
Integration to ERP and technical systems
The Integration module in API PRO 9 includes standard components for flexible integration to ERP systems, configurable import/export via files or web-services, and tools for collecting data from technical equipment to be used for condition monitoring and compliance with Industry 4.0.
API PRO Analytics
The Analytics module includes an automatically scheduled generation of an InfoCube containing relevant raw data and calculated historic snapshots in an open format. The InfoCube data can be used for business intelligence analysis or simple KPI follow-up either using the included QlikView tool or your own BI tools. The Analytics module includes a QlikView document containing more than 60 predefined reports for flexible analysis of maintenance, downtime, stock value, purchasing, spare part usage and financial data.
Register events or incidents as Notifications in the system either via the normal API PRO client or using the Job request web portal. The notifications can later be used to generate work orders or linked to existing work orders.
Shift log book
Manage shift responsibility and register events during shifts. The shifts can be handed over or taken over by shift responsible persons. Notes and notifications can be registered on the specific shifts and this information can later be looked up and analyzed. The shift workers can create shift instructions for the workers on the next shift and check if the instructions have been read by the right persons.
The Visual Planning module contains the Planning Board program which visualizes work orders, work suppliers, shift information and work load in one combined screen. The work orders and work suppliers can be fine planned by using drag-and-drop. Work in progress can be monitored directly on the planning board and delayed work can be re-planned immediately.
Permit to work (available from 9000B)
The Permit to Work module makes it possible to issue work permits for critical maintenance work. The module includes advances functionality for administration and approval of work permits and it also includes configurable lists of isolation and normalization activities (lock out and tag out).
The multi-plant module makes it possible for different plants to use a shared API PRO installation. The different plants can be in different physical locations and even in different time-zones, but all data is stored in a single API PRO database on a central server either installed on premise or in the cloud.
With this module, the plants in the API PRO database can be configured to belong to different legal units. Each legal unit have its own base currency, which is used when creating transactions in the system. This way, the different plants can work in different currencies, while still use the same single API PRO database.
API PRO Product Life-Cycle Plan
End of life for mobile PDA products: PDA work order and PDA inspection products are NOT supported from v9.0. On v9.0 the PDA products will be handled as customizations for the customers who use these products. This plan is generated in May 2017 and will change over time.
Level 1: Service packs and accumulated fix packs will be released. Customizations can be developed.
Level 2: Only newest service pack will be supported. No new service packs will be released. Customizations can be developed for newest service pack.
No support: No fix-pack or service pack releases. No new customizations. No direct upgrade tools to newest version (only to next major version).
